Tonasket Natural Foods Co-op & Okanogan Family Faire: All Part of the Same Family Tree |
![]() |
The connection between the Barter Faire and the Co-op goes back to the beginnings of each organization, over 30 years ago. These two organizations have been intertwined in ways too numerous to count. Many of the same people were instrumental in the conception and operation of both organizations. The two have grown and developed into the organizations that exist today because of this cooperation between the two.
Over the years another sister organization, the Community Cultural Center of Tonasket, has developed and shares the connection of these entities. Additionally, as time has passed, other groups have formed valuable community organizations that are part of this same tree. Among them are Okanogan Neighbors, Okanogan Highlands Alliance, Green Okanogan, and Okanogan Community Consciousness Fund. |
